This reading riddle is a fun and challenging reading activity. 

Students can work alone, in pairs or in small groups. Everyone needs a copy of the picture and the reading text. 

Students read the introduction. They then find number one on the picture and in the text. They follow the instructions in the reading text and draw their journey on the picture. If students make a wrong decision, the text will tell them and send them back to the previous step.

Once the students have found Larry's friend, then write the numbers of their journey in the suns and then they complete the question. This will show them if they have completed the task correctly or not.

There are also 3 extra tasks. It is good to do the vocabulary worksheet before the reading riddle. The cut & glue and the word search can either be done before, after or just for fast finishers.
