First deal out the cards to the players one by one until there are none left. If there are extra cards, you can either give a couple of the players one extra card, or the teacher can keep the extras and play with them.
The chosen first player, or teacher if she has the extras, places a card in the middle of the table. The rest of the players have to look at their cards to see who has the following one. And so on until no more cards are left.
