It's useful for French students to have a comprehensive vocabulary reference bank. This list features countries / territories where French is an official language. There may be a number of countries and capital cities that students do not know, or are not aware of, and the list helps them develop their general awareness, knowledge and understanding of Les pays francophones, as well as the wider world.
The list is a great teacher time-saver too - if you're creating resources focusing on French-speaking countries, it will save you research prep time.
