Il gioco può essere svolto a squadre o a coppie. Il primo giocatore prende una carta con un'immagine (e la relativa parola da indovinare) e un elenco di parole proibite. Lo scopo del gioco è far indovinare all'altra persona o alla squadra la parola proibita descrivendola senza usare nessuna delle parole proibite. Allo stesso modo, non si possono usare gesti, suoni o derivati di queste parole.

Se volete rendere il gioco più divertente, potete concordare un limite di tempo e giocare a indovinare il numero massimo di parole in un determinato lasso di tempo.

56 cards to play a fun speaking game in the ESL classroom and get you students talking!

This game can be played in pairs or in teams. The first student to play gets a card with a picture (and the guess-word) and a list of forbidden words. The aim of the game is to get the other team or player to say the guess-word on the card without using any of the forbidden words. They can't use sound effects, gestures or any derivatives from any of the words on the card either.

If you want to make the game more fun, you can set a time limit and get the students to guess as many words as possible in the given time.
