This bundle includes resources to teach English with the rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl and the Bee Hive', book 5 in the 'Read and Rhyme with Brown Owl' series, by Rachel Schmidlechner and Nadja Grace Bodner.
Use the flashcards and wordcards to teach the key words. Practise the new language with a BeeBot activity, dominoes, memory, read & colour, worksheets and lots more.
N.B. This is a GROWING bundle. I will be adding more games and a teacher's handbook.

Children can make their own mini books to practise reading key words and phrases from my rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl and the Bee Hive' by Rachel Schmidlechner and Nadja Grace Bodner.There are 5 levels available.Level 1: This is for non-readers. It contains 7 main scenes from the story. Children can come up with their own language. Some will say key words, e.g. Busy Lizzy. Others might say: Look! Use these game cards to practise key words from the rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl and the Bee Hive', by Rachel Schmidlechner and Nadja Grace Bodner. There are two sets with 24 key words.Set 1 is for readers, set 2 for non-readers.How to play:1) shuffle the cards2) hand out one card to each pupil (some can have two cards if necessary)3) the child with the first card begins: "I have got the first card. Who has got Busy Lizzy?"4) The child with Busy Lizzy on their card carries on: "I have got Busy Lizzy. Who has got the sun?"and so it goes on until the last card is played.Once the children have got the hang of the game, they get faster and faster. You can turn it into a competition by timing them each round they play and seeing if they can improve on their record.Non-readers just say what they have on their card in a simplified form: e.g. Busy Lizzy is here!
