Talk about pizza toppings with these flashcards and carry out a class survey.
The separate picture and word cards can be used for flashcard games, a matching activity or even for a game of pairs.
The class survey practises asking and answering questions:
Do you like mushrooms on your pizza?
Yes, I do! / No, I don't!
On the 2nd worksheet children can design and label their own pizza. You can hang up the children's pictures on the board and decribe one for the children to guess.
This activity was inspired by worm pizza in my rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl's Birthday Tea'.
