A Story Walk or Gallery Walk is an engaging teaching strategy that requires students to move physically around the classroom.

The Halloween Story Walk includes 13 pictures, a Halloween story, a vocabulary and a comprehension exercise.

The pictures are placed around the room and each student is given a worksheet with the text and exercises. Then students walk around the room and match each picture to a different part of the text. When this task is completed, they use the letters placed on the right side of the text to find out a mystery message.
