This resource contains 12 blank ghosts and 12 ghosts with a letter and a Pixel Art image related to Halloween. When the letters are arranged, the final message will be "TRICK OR TREAT". This the vocabulary corresponding to the pictures: bat (T), black cat (R), cauldron (I), Frankenstein (C), ghost (K), haunted house (O), jack-o'-lantern (R), monster (T), skull (R), spider (E), vampire (A), and witch's hat (T). If these words are arranged alphabetically, the message can be read more easily.
To prepare the game, apply glue to the sheet containing the images, place the blank ghosts on top, and cut out the silhouettes. We recommend laminating the materials to make them more durable. Then, hide the ghosts around the classroom, turn off the lights, and give each student a torch. When they find a ghost, they will need to shine the light behind it to see what is hidden. Once all 12 ghosts are found, they will work together to decipher the message "TRICK OR TREAT."
