Summery of the content
The story of „Sinbad the Sailor“ belongs to the tales of 1001 Nights, which since their rediscovery in Europe in the 18th century are associated with a fantastic and colourful image of the ancient Orient. It is the struggle between good and bad, poor and rich etc., that shows the acting common to all human beings. Three adventures of Sinbad are told: the paradise island, the bird Rock and Sinbad´s imprisonment and slavery.

Number of rolls and duration of a performance
The play tells three adventures (scenes) of Sinbad. The complete script assigns parts to 22 children. If only two adventures (scenes) are performed, this number is reduced. The duration of a performance for one adventure (scene) is about 12 minutes.
