These task cards bring some fun and movement to practising grammar.

How to use: 

Option 1: Hang the 24 cards up around the classroom. Give each student an answer sheet. Students walk from card to card and write either 'was' or 'were' on their answer sheet.

Option 2: Stop & Swap - Give each student a card. Students walk around the room When they meet someone new, they complete their sentence, swap cards and then move on to the next person.
