Simple Past - XXL Materialpaket

These conversation cards are a great way to practise  simple past. The 4 follow-up questions on each card will help the students to keep  the conversation flowing.The cards can be used as a whole class 'Stop & Swap' mingle or they can be used for partner/small group discussion.Students can also pick a couple of cards to write about for homework.

Klassenstufen: 6-7. Klasse

These task cards bring some fun and movement to practising grammar.How to use:  Option 1: Hang the 24 cards up around the classroom. Give each student an answer sheet. Students walk from card to card and write either 'was' or 'were' on their answer sheet.Option 2: Stop & Swap - Give each student a card. Students walk around the room When they meet someone new, they complete their sentence, swap cards and then move on to the next person.

Das Erlernen von regelmäßigen Verben in der einfachen Vergangenheit ist für Schüler normalerweise ziemlich einfach aber sie haben oft Schwierigkeiten mit den unterschiedlichen Ausspracheregeln für -ed, daher habe ich mir etwas einfallen lassen um zu helfen - das Aussprachepopcorn!!Die Schüler haben ein Informationsblatt, das erklärt wann ein Verb ein / t /, / d / oder  / id / ausgesprochen wird. Den Schülern wird ein Arbeitsblatt mit den 3 Popcornboxen gegeben, die die verschiedenen Aussprachen darstellen. Es gibt dann 30 Popcorn-Stücke mit regelmäßigen Verben (das Einlegen in eine Popcorn-Schachtel macht ein bisschen mehr Spaß), und die Schüler müssen sich entscheiden in welche Popcorn-Schachtel sie hineingelegt werden sollen. Sie überprüfen ihre Antworten auf dem Lösungsblatt und können dann die Wörter in ihre Popcornboxen schreiben.

Bingo is a fun way to practise irreguar verbs!How to play:Every student needs a card and 9 counters.Using the control card, the teacher reads out one of the infinitives. If a student has the simple past form of the verb on their card, they cover it with a counter. The first person to cover all of their 9 verbss shouts 'Bingo!'. (You can also play for a line, which means that the students need 3 verbs in a row.)
