Escape Room , suitable Junior B - Senior A. It combines clues, in the form of comprehension , grammar and vocabulary in context, matching, free play and coding tasks which encourage collaboration and turn taking .For every clue there is a link which projects the escape room. Students have to give an answer relative to their clue BUT not the same as before or the most obvious. Now the ss have to explore what they have already found out making the right connections in the brain. This is a neuro based task along with thinking out of the box.
The main job is done as teamwork when the students work on the sheets.
This is the part where the revision of lexicogrammatical items is done carefully covered in the form of a game.
The Board Answers at the end of the game focus on specific information - actually very simple but not obvious.
For example they might need to answer to comprehension questions about dolphins and then asked how many letters does the animal in the picture have? This is clearly a simple question but just then they retrieve the information by making neuro connections, or trying to “see” or recall or even write the word dolphin.
