There's lots to see at the seashore. Seagulls, seashells, sand and more!
Children take a trip to the seashore with Brown Owl's friends and family, as the rhyming story of 'Brown Owl at the Seashore' is retold with this story walk.
1) place the picture cards around the room
2) hand out the differentiated worksheets (Level 1: single words, Level 2: short phrases, Level 3: longer phrases)
3) children match the word/phrase on their worksheet with the picture card and write down the LETTER that they find
4) put all the letters together to find the secret message!
TIP: Use the picture dictionary wordmats to practise key words before reading the story.
