This BINGO game is a great way to practise and consolidate vocabulary from my rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl at the Zoo'.
It can be played as a class or in small groups with a quizmaster.
I have included a set of picture/word cards for the quizmaster to draw at random. If you print two sets, they can also be used as a game of pairs too.
If someone gets three pictures in a row, they shout LINE!
If they get all nine pictures, they shout BINGO!
I like to embed each word in a sentence so that the children are exposed to as much language as possible. E.g. I can see monkeys at the zoo. Lions are roaring at the zoo. I don't like spiders
TIP: Use phrases and sentences directly from the book.
I hope you have fun teaching English with Brown Owl!
