2D Shapes: Drawing Game (engelsk)

The game can be used in lessons to repeat vocabulary that is already known in a playful way. It is suitable as an introduction to the lesson, at the end of the lesson or as a substitute lesson.

Instructions:

1. Two teams are divided up. The cards with the terms are cut out and placed face down in a pile. A timer and a pen are provided.
2. One team starts and chooses a person to draw first. They come to the front of the board or whiteboard.
3. At a start signal, the person starts, turns over a card and begins to draw the term. They have 1 minute and are not allowed to speak or write. The other team members try to guess and name the term.
4. Once the team has guessed the term, they receive one point. The person in front can try to draw more terms and collect more points together with the team.
5. When the minute is up, it's the other team's turn.
6. The team that has more points after a predetermined number of rounds wins the game.
