A search word puzzle is a simple, but effective vocabulary activity that you can both use for your CLIL classroom & ESL students but also as a universal sub plan! Use this search word puzzle resources to play word search puzzle games with your class - and check out the 4 other ways to use this resource.

1. list the vocabulary words they want to hide.
2. place the vocabulary words in a grid in an orientation they choose.
3. Indicate the orientation of the vocabulary words.
4. Fill the grid with other letters.
5. Then play, swap, gamefy, etc…
