The children's task is to match the cards to the correct pictures. The sentences on the cards describe what is happening in the picture (e.g. He is praying on his knees.). The children read the sentences one by one and place the cards where they belong. I recommend working gradually - first cards with a yellow dot, then with a green dot, then with a blue dot, and finally with a red dot. There are 4 cards for each picture, see below.
The images are numbered, so the first step can be to sort the images according to the numbers.
THE MATERIAL INCLUDES:
✹ 12 pictures from the Easter story
✹ 36 descriptive cards to match:
⋆ There are three sets of color-coded cards (each set has a different color – yellow, green, blue, and red).
⋆ Each set contains 12 cards, i.e. within each set, one card belongs to one picture.
⋆ The cards are available in color or black and white version. Choose and print only the version that suits you. If you choose the black and white version, color the dots on the cards with the colors according to the labels.
✹ solution – an example of which descriptive cards belong to which pictures. The solution can be printed and put in a bag together with the cards or projected on the wall after the work.
