These communication cards are designed to motivate students to practise the will-future. The activity is basically a role play. One student is the fortune teller, and the other student is his/her client.  Pass out one set of cards for every pair and let them play the game. My students love this activity and always have a lot of fun when playing it. Also older students, class 9 or 10, for example, still love doing that activity. It never hurts to focus on a grammatical structure again, even more so as older students find it easier to understand grammatical structures.

The tarot cards have extensive vocabulary help on the back for those students who need more help to participate in a real role play. That way, you can pair together different levels since the cards provide a natural differentiation for your students.

The fortune teller then writes down what kind of future he/she saw for his/her client and hands it to the client at the end of the activity.
