This writing unit focuses on the early development of the students’ writing competence with motivating animal pictures. It encourages the students to write freely, without focusing on certain methods, so that they can experience with the English language at an early stage. (Class 5).

The writing incentive is always similar, and I try to design them in such a way that the students feel motivated to write about the pictures.

For students who need more help, the worksheets always have a help corner with vocabulary and the two tasks differ in their depth. The first task asks for a simple description of the picture, whereas the second task allows for more creative writing.
