Cut out the 3 fruit bowls (you can choose colour or black & white) and the fruit pictures. 

Students must decide if the word has 1, 2 or 3 syllables and put the fruit in the correct bowl.

The students can check if they are correct with the solutions card.

There is also a worksheet version of this activity. This can be used to consolidate their understanding, after the activity.
