Die Idee für dieses Spiel wurde von mir von der US Show "The Ellen Show" für den Englisch Unterricht adaptiert .

Eines kann ich euch im Vorhinein versichern: Eure Schüler werden super viel Spaß haben und ganz nebenbei das Verständnis für die Present Perfect Simple entwickeln.
Das Spiel eignet sich gut für die Einführung der Present Perfect Tense, aber auch für die Festigung.
Have fun! :)
Instructions:
1. In front of the class, make a row out of 5 chairs.
2. Invite 4-5 students to join the game. Give each student a sign board.
3. Hand out the questions to the other students (audience)
4. Now the other students (audience) start to ask the questions.
5. The students don’t have to answer, they simply show „I have“ or „I haven’t“
6. After a while you can pick other students to sit in front of the class.
Differentiation:
After a while let the students write their own questions. Keep in mind to show them the grammar structure if you haven’t taught it yet. For example.
Have you ever + past participle
You don’t have to explain the rules in detail. Just give them a scaffold how to form a proper sentence and let them use their sentences in the game very quickly again.
Later they’ll have a natural understanding when the Present Perfect Tense is used and you can start working out the grammar rules. (Often my students tell me what they think, when the Present Perfect Tense is used and I encourage them to express their own rules..)
