A Creative Pop Art Project for Kids
This colorful and hands-on art project lets children explore the bright, joyful world of Pop Art, inspired by James Rizzi. It combines painting, cutting, and 3D design in one fun and easy classroom activity.
Perfect for elementary school students (ages 6–9), art lessons, sub plans, or creative days at home.
The coloring templates are designed for a DIN A3-sized artwork (approx. 11.7 x 16.5 inches).
If you want to create your picture in DIN A4 (approx. 8.3 x 11.7 inches), you can either use the cliparts or print the templates in DIN A5 (approx. 5.8 x 8.3 inches).
Learning goals:
Encourage creativity and self-expression
Use colors, contrasts, and shapes in a meaningful way
Recognize and apply typical Rizzi elements (e.g. faces in objects, strong colors, 3D effects)
What’s included:
Step-by-step instructions
Coloring templates with ocean theme
Assessment criteria sheet
Feedback form for student reflection
Colorful PNG cliparts for decorating
Great for art teachers, homeschoolers, or anyone looking for an engaging Pop Art lesson!
