Children can make their own mini books to practise reading key words and phrases from my rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl's Christmas in Devon'.
Mini books are a motivating method to encourage children to read at school and at home, as well as revising and consolodating key words.
There are two different stories available, each focussing on a different aspect of the main story, 'Brown Owl's Christmas in Devon'.
Story 1: An abridged version of the main story
Story 2: Brown Owl's Christmas traditions
Each story is available in 3 levels:
Level 1: read only
Level 2: gap fill, some letters given
Level 3: gap fill, no letters given
