To get the most out of the story 'Brown Owl and the Pancake Mix', I like to introduce the key words that come up in the picture dictionary at the back of the book, before reading the story to the children.
Set one includes a set of 18 key words. Each flashcard has the word and picture on it. They are perfect for a classroom display or introducing the new words with flashcard games.
Set two has separate picture cards and wordcards to promote memory skills and to use in matching games.
TIP: Print two flashcards per page if you would prefer smaller cards. Print eight flashcards per page to create a game of memory or snap.
