Test your knowledge of the 'Read and Rhyme with Brown Owl' rhyming picture books with these fun quiz cards.

There are eight quiz cards per book.

Version one has the answer written upsidedown in the bottom righthand corner.

Version two does not have the answer written on it.

Version three is ink-friendly and has white backgrounds.

I usually read the questions out directly after reading the story.

You can also use the cards as a carousel activity, for pairwork, group work (with a quiz master) or as a whole class activity to round off the lesson.

During this activity the children are also exposed to the question words who/what/which/how and how many.

There are three possible answers for each question. If you read the options out, the question is worth one point. If you don't read the options out, the question is worth two points.
