The “¿Qué preferirías?” printable Task Cards are a fun way for students to get to know each other, while practicing the conditional structure “¿Qué preferirías?” - “Yo preferiría…”. They are perfect for back to school!

This resource includes:

· 32 printable task cards with “¿Qué preferirías?” questions

· 8 printable blank cards for teacher- or student-created questions

These task cards can be used in a variety of ways.

Here are some ideas:

- as a daily warm-up routine

- as speaking prompts

- as writing prompts (ask students to create a quick persuasive speech, or write an opinionated essay as a response to one of the cards)

- in the last 5 minutes of each lesson

*You can have students pair up and discuss some of the cards that you pick, or have them try to predict each other’s answers to each question. If you wish to expand the activity, asks students to create their own scenarios.

The questions are written in Spanish and are appropriate for B1, B2 students.
