1) Colour all the things that begin with an 's'!

Sand, sea, sand, starfish, shells, sandals, seagull, ship, shark, stones ...

2) Practise the tongue twister and colour in your picture.

She sells seashells on the seashore! The shells she sells are seashells I'm sure.

3) Read the text and colour in the seaside scene

4) Use the blank seaside scene in various ways:

Pupils draw on objects themselves. It can be used in conjunction with the vocabulary dice (roll and draw) or the memory cards (draw a card and draw the picture).

You could use it as a picture dictation activity. The teacher says: 'I can see a big yellow starfish. I can see two crabs. I can see a seagull in the sky.'

Alternatively use it as a read & draw exercise and hide the sentences around the room, e.g. There is a starfish on the left. Above the starfish there are two shells etc.

N.B. This also practises prepositions of place
