This BINGO game is a great way to practise and consolidate vocabulary from my rhyming picture book 'Brown Owl and the Pancake Mix'.
It can be played as a class or in small groups with a quizmaster.
I have included a set of picture/word cards for the quizmaster to draw at random. If you print two sets, they can also be used as a game of pairs too.
If someone gets three pictures in a row, they shout LINE!
If they get all nine pictures, they shout BINGO!
I like to embed each word in a sentence so that the children are exposed to as much language as possible. E.g. Let's make pancakes. Can you help me, Cousin Geoff? We need eggs ... and milk ...
TIP: Use phrases and sentences directly from the book.
