This resource consists of a board with 30 numbers and 30 gapped sentences, which must be conjugated using the appropriate verb tense of the verb in brackets, employing the passive voice (verb TO BE + past participle) and either the present simple, past simple, or future simple.

On the one hand, this game can be played as a traditional board game with counters and dice. In this case, the students take turns rolling the dice and placing the counters on the corresponding squares. Then, they will select the corresponding card and conjugate the verb in brackets using the passive voice. The first player to reach square number 30 will be the winner.

On the other hand, it can be adapted and played according to the following rules: The following supplies will be needed: popsicle sticks, permanent markers or stickers to write the numbers and words, a timer, and a container such as a pencil pot, glass, cup, or small bucket. First, it is necessary to write the numbers and words on the popsicle sticks or cut and glue the words onto them. Then, all the sticks should be placed in the container.

This game can be played in pairs or teams. In turns, each student must take a stick from the pot, say the word, or form a sentence corresponding to that number. Apart from the numbers, you will need to add certain words to make the game more entertaining:

• “Boom” = The student must return all the sticks they have collected to the pot.
• “Super Boom” = Both teams must return all the sticks to the pot, and the game will start again.
• “Steal 1” = The student will steal a stick from the opposite team.
• “Exchange” = Both teams will exchange a stick.
• “Bonus” = The team keeps the stick and may take another one to play again.
• “Miss a turn” = The team will miss a turn.

The winner of the game will be the team or player who has collected the most sticks when the time runs out.

To make the game more challenging, in addition to counting the sticks, the points on the numbers written on the sticks can be added. The winner will be the team with the most points.
