The aim of this board game is to complete 40 gapped sentences using the following modal verbs: CAN, COULD, MUST, and SHOULD, choosing the correct option, that is, A or B.

The set comprises a printable board game with 40 squares and 40 cards, each containing the sentences.

A die and some counters are needed to play the game. The students take turns rolling the die and placing their counters on the corresponding square. Then, they will choose a card and complete it with a suitable modal verb. The first player to reach square number 40 will win the game.
