Flashcard Activity work to Introduce colors and shapes.

These are the How many ? Flashcards .

Commands Flashcards. Introduce the command POINT!

Set 1 of Worksheets. Listen and color!
Big and small. When teaching shapes it is appropriate to introduce big and small. The students trace the phrase and you dictate the color of each shape. Students then cut the small shapes and match them.

Big and small. Students follow the lines from big and small shape. As always dictate the color of each shape.
When it is done, students cut each shape to sort them in the other worksheet.

Shape Collage. It is always fun to make a collage using the shapes.
Shape Puzzle. Students color the shapes as indicated by the teacher.
Then, cut the shapes and put them together as a puzzle on their notebooks or a piece of paper.

Number Review. Students color the shapes and trace the phrase. Dictate the colors of the numbers as a review. Students cut the numbers and get ready to glue a number where you dictate.
Teacher: Put Number four on the green circle.

Cut and paste. This is an easy for the early beginners students. As always dictate the color of the shapes. Have the students cut and paste the shape where it belongs.

More Worksheets.

Dictation Cards. I made three sets of cards, size, colors and shapes. Put the cards into small bags. Grab three cards to dictate the drawing showing the cards to the students . They will listen and draw on a piece of paper. You draw the shape on a board and show to the students to see if they drew the same shape.

Printable Book. Students color the shapes as indicated in the sentence. They also trace the sentences.
Bingo

Shape magnifying glasses to find similar shapes.

I
printed the image onto colored paper. Then cut and paste onto lunch bags. I
used the Bingo cards to sort into the bags.

Craft. The craft is always a fun way to show all what the students know and listen to new language as they move on working on the craft such as, glue, color, put, etc. This is a mobile.
Awards. There are two awards for all the hard work to end the theme.

Halloween and Shapes Unit

If the flashcards are too big for your class or printing, well, here the Halloween small cards.

Halloween Shapes BINGO! Yes, another bingo. Hand in each table or group a set of bingo cards and have them cut and glue 6 cards onto their template. Start calling Bingo!
