Lesson Plan- Practice. Worksheets.
Set 1 of Worksheets. Listen and color!

Set 2 of worksheets –trace.
Have the students trace each number and color as indicated.

Writing. Print the tablet template and place it inside a clear plastic sheet. Dictate a number and have the students write it using a whiteboard marker. If they can ,have them write the number word. This can be used with any unit that you teach.

Matching numbers. This worksheet is for the very beginners. It’s just a match activity. And, dictate color of each number as a listening exercise

Pompoms numbers. These can be turned into a book or a poster.

A game. Students find the same number and trace the line. Dictate the color of each pair of numbers. I found these small fly swatters to play using the worksheet. If you don’t have the swatter, have the students use their hand.

More Worksheets. Here
are more worksheets to send
as homework or for extra practice in the classroom.
Lesson Plan- Production. Activities.
Set 1 of Cutouts. I placed a magnet behind each number to use on a magnetic whiteboard for online teaching.

Set 2 of Cutouts. I glued the numbers onto recycled CDs. They can be used for online teaching as well. Have the students match amount of balls to each number.

Give the students their Bingo template. Have them color all nine numbers. Tell the students that they can only color the items in any of the six colors of your cards: red, yellow, blue, orange, green. purple. Put all your cards in a bag or box. At your signal start calling the colors. Have them cross out or mark the item they hear.
If you want to play a shorter Bingo game, take out colors. For example, just play with the primary colors.

Feed me box and Cutouts. There are small cutouts in color.
You can make puppets to use online or in class to name the numbers.
I made a feed me box. I grab a recycled cake mix box. I covered the front with paper and then glued the animal cutout.
Have all the cutouts ready.
Teacher: Feed Number 5 to the ground hog.
If you are doing online teaching, students will tell which number you will feed the ground hog.
Student: Feed number 2 to the ground hog.

Printable Book. Students color the numbers as indicated in the sentence. They also trace the sentences. Assemble the book and practice reading.
I assembled mine creating a standing fold. It took a lot of measuring but in the end it turned out easy.

Games!
I taped a clip behind each character marker. As a students lands on a number have them say the number and /or the color.

A matching game.

Cut all the puzzle pieces. Play a group game as you give each student a piece of a puzzle.
Place the other piece somewhere around the class. At your signal, have them run and find the piece and complete a number.

Craft. The craft is always a fun way to show all what the students know and listen to new language as they move on working on the craft such as, glue, color, put, etc. This is a gumball machine. Students write a number on each gumball and color as you dictate. I assembled it using a plastic bag. Play by saying a number or a color and students touch the gumball.

Awards. There is an award for all the hard work to end the theme. I made a badge. Print it and add a pin on the back and have the students put on their shirts.

Cardigan. I added the numbers template. Trace the numbers around small pieces of felt. Cut a small slit in the middle of the numbers. Just pass the button in between the slit. Send me a picture of your cardigan.

Holidays!
Halloween Numbers Flashcards. A set of flashcards from 1 to 10, to review the numbers or play games.

There’s a set of small cards numbers 1 to 10 to use for small groups teaching or even online.
Halloween Worksheets. Just a few worksheets to spice up the lesson.

Halloween Feed me bottle or box. I cut a soda bottle and glued the vampire cutout on it.

Another game is the Halloween matching card game. It’s simple and students can work in small groups.
