This is the third theme from the series of 30 units for the Preschool-Kindergarten English Language Learners.




Feed me box and Cutouts. There are small cutouts in color.
I made a feed me box with a recycled Corn Flakes cereal box.
Teacher: Feed the blue crayon to the Gingerbread Boy.

Worksheets.
Set 1 of worksheets –Vocabulary.

Set 2 of worksheets –Listen and color. A lot of listening and color the school items on the worksheet.
Teacher: Color the pencil yellow!

Set 3 of worksheets. Listen and Trace.

and a lot more worksheets.
Games:
Give the students their Bingo template. Have them color all six school items. Tell the students that they can only color the items in any of the six colors of your cards: red, yellow, blue, orange, green. purple. Put all your cards in a bag or box. At your signal start calling the colors. Have them cross out or mark the item they hear.

You can sort the Bingo cards into colors using the French Fries recycled containers.

Puzzles.

Domino.

Printable Book. Students color the school items as indicated in the sentence. They also trace the sentences. Assemble the book and practice reading. I assembled mine using the backpack template and made an accordion book.

Craft. The craft is always a fun way to show all what the students know and listen to new language as they move on working on the craft such as, glue, color, put, etc. This is name hanger for the bedroom.

Rwwards. There is an award for all the hard work to end the theme. I made colored award tickets and there is a b/w version to print either on colored paper or for the students to color.
