THANKSGIVING LEARNING STATIONS PACK

This pack is all you need to teach vocabulary about Thanksgiving. It has got a series of activities and games for your students to acquire vocabulary about this festivity.

It includes:

• Flashcards with background
• Word Cards
• Dominoes with background
• Spelling cards with background (2 levels: tracing and writing the words)
• 30 Bingo cards
• Picture Dictionary worksheets: picture, words and picture-words
• Crosswords (2 levels)
• Vocabulary booklet

You can set up centers/stations for your students to go around and do different activities for a certain amount of time, or you can develop a whole unit using these resources.

This packs develops:

• Reading skills
• Writing skills
• Listening skills
• Oral skills (with some adaptations)
• Spelling
• Vocabulary about Thanksgiving

TIPS:

1. Laminate all the cards so they can use them over and over again.
2. The picture dictionary can be laminated and displayed in your classroom as a poster.
3. The crosswords can be used over and over again if you insert it into a plastic pouch so you only need to print it once.
4. You can complement these activities with some videos about Thanksgiving NY parade, the history behind Thanksgiving (for older students) or the Thanksgiving dinner preparations (great for recipes too).
