This word search is a fun way to practise Thanksgiving vocabulary.The words go in all directions (even backwards!), so the kids really need to concentrate to find everything!

Dominoes is a great game for practising vocabulary.How to play:You need 3 or more players.Divide the cards equally between players. The person with the start card begins. Students take it in turns to play. If you do not have the correct card to play, you miss a turn. The first person to get rid of all of their cards, wins.(A student can also work alone and try and put all the cards down themselves)

Who has the turkey?'B: 'I have the turkey. Who has the bread basket?'C: 'I have the bread basket. Who has the knife?'The game continues like this until the last card.This game is a quick way to learn vocabulary and to practise pronunciation.Tip: Use a stopwatch and see how fast your students can get to the end. Each time they play, they should try to beat their record.

The more difficult version doesn't have a word list.You can use this worksheet at the beginning of a lesson on Thanksgiving to give students a reference guide.
