though we do not like to translate things from Spanish to English, to get our learners to improve their Communicative Competence, they need to practice this type of exercises as well.

Consequently, I have created this worksheet to practice the translation of comparative sentences from Spanish to English.

These kids were using New Tiger 5 book in class. Apart from this, I usually extended their knowledge so there may be extra vocabulary which is not in the lesson!

Be aware that it can be also used with other type of learners as long as they are 5th graders or older than that. The adjectives used to translate these sentences are quite common and the vocabulary is pretty common.

¡Hola compis!

A pesar de que no me gusta realizar traducción del inglés al castellano, ni del castellano al inglés, hay ocasiones en las que es necesario debido al nivel competencial de nuestro alumnado en este área. Por ello, creé este material para un grupo de alumnos/as de 5º de Ed. Primaria que estaban usando el libro de New Tiger 5. Debemos tener en cuenta, que suelo ampliar siempre las lecciones con otros contenidos por lo que quizá el vocabulario no se corresponda del todo con el aprendido en la lección.

También se puede emplear simplemente para practicar el comparativo con cualquier tipo de alumnado y nivel superior a quinto de Ed. Primaria.

Tened en cuenta que los adjetivos y vocabulario empleado es bastante básico.
