This resource contains 48 cards with colour images of occupations, designed for playing a guessing game called “Who Am I?”. In this game, players must use yes/no questions to guess the job. Although the game works well with any group size, the larger the group, the more entertaining it becomes.
Here are some examples of the questions the players may ask:
- Do I work outdoors? / - No.
- Do I work in a hospital? / - No.
- Do I wear a hat? / - Yes.
- Do I work in a kitchen? / - Yes.
- Am I a chef? / - Yes.
The winner of the game will be the player who is able to guess the most occupations.
SETUP:
Place the cards face down in the centre of the playing area. Each player takes a headband and adjusts it around their head. The teacher deals the cards and inserts one into the clip of the headband so that the other players can see it, but the wearer cannot. Another option is to stick the card to the forehead of each player.
A timer is needed to make the game more challenging. On their turn, each student will ask questions to guess their occupation.
