"Winter Holiday Fun" (reading walk) is a motivating method to train reading comprehension and subsequently writing and vocabulary skills.
Method: The individual picture cards are distributed around the class or displayed on the board. Each student receives a worksheet (please note the differentiation). The texts are read carefully. Now, the students look at the pictures and try to match them to the texts. The worksheets remain on the desks. As soon as the individual student has found a suitable picture for the text, they return to their seat and write the number on the worksheet. At the end, there is a solution word.
After the “Post Work Activities“ can be completed or given as homework.
