CHRISTMAS - MEGA BUNDLE (Growing Bundle)
The Christmas package is a collection of teaching materials for primary and secondary school.
Over time, I will add new materials. Once the bundle has been purchased, all expansions of the Christmas bundle are free to download (Growing Bundle).
The package offers a wide range of materials that can be used in different classes and at different levels. In general, all important skills (reading, writing, vocabulary work, speaking, etc.) are covered at different levels.
The material ‘All about Christmas’ consists of 10 fact cards, a copy template for an answer booklet material is aimed at beginners.The fact cards are simply printed out, laminated and cut out if necessary. The Answer Booklet is printed as a ‘brochure’. This means that each student only receives 2 sheets in total. The booklet can also be stapled in the centre if desired. Recommendation: For larger groups, the fact cards should be produced twice.The fact cards are placed on a table in the classroom, for example. Each student receives their own answer booklet. Now the students pick up the fact cards, read the information and answer the questions in their answer booklets. To ensure that the vocabulary boxes are completed correctly, I recommend having the students work with a dictionary (digital or analogue).

The busy scene is differentiated at 3 levels. Please select the most appropriate image for your students: Level 1: Provided help: Vocabulary Box, There is/There are, Prepositions of place, colours Level 2: Provided help: Vocabulary Box, There is/There are, Prepositions of place, Present Progressive Level 3: No help provided Worksheets are included with various tasks relating to the image. The worksheet is differentiated at 4 levels and is appropriate for beginners to advanced beginners. The busy scene can either be shown on the board or simply printed, laminated and given to the pupils. I recommend having the students work in pairs or in small groups.

"Santa's Christmas Visit - Story Walk" is a motivating method to train reading comprehension and, subsequently, writing and vocabulary skills.Method: The individual picture cards are distributed in the class or placed on the board. Each student receives a worksheet (please note the differentiation). The texts are read carefully. Now, the students look at the pictures and try to match them to the texts. The worksheets remain in place. As soon as the individual student has found a suitable picture for the text, they return to their seat and write down the number on the worksheet. At the end, there is a solution word. The post-work activities can then be carried out or given as homework.

‘All about Christmas’ is a reading comprehension about the traditions of Christmas to be used in lessons.The text has been adapted to fit two levels:Level 1 easy and relevant vocabulary, no difficult grammatical structures, shorter textLevel 2 authentic language, higher level, longer textThere is a worksheet for each of the texts. Vocabulary from the texts is worked on and the understanding of the text is checked. Theoretically, it is also possible to mix-and-match the texts and worksheets.To round off the topic, there are ‘Conversation Strips’. The pupils can work in smaller groups or as a whole class to answer the questions. This should help to practise new vocabulary and knowledge gained from the texts.Aims:Pupils should know about current topics.Pupils should learn new subject-specific vocabulary.Pupils should be able to talk about current topics.Pupils should practise their reading comprehension.Time30-50 minutes, dependent on level.
