The material "The Royal Family" consists of 11 fact cards (cards with information texts about the royals) and a master copy for an "Answer Booklet". The material also includes a vocabulary sheet on which the students can fill in or translate unfamiliar words from the information texts. The material is designed for intermediate learners onwards.
Preparation:
The fact cards are to be simply printed out, laminated and cut out, if necessary. The Answer Booklet should be printed as a "booklet". Each student receives only 2 sheets in total. If desired, the booklet can also be stapled in the middle. Recommendation for larger groups: the fact cards should be produced twice.
Possible Method:
The fact cards are placed on a table in the classroom, for example. Each student receives their own answer booklet. Now, the students move to the fact cards, read the information and answer the questions in their answer booklets. So that unfamiliar words can be translated, I recommend letting the students work with a dictionary.
