The material package "The Royal Family" has been designed for intermediate learners onwards and aims to help the pupils get to know the royal family of Great Britain.

The material consists of the following:

Each material covers multiple skills. The “Fact Cards” and “Answer Booklet”, the “Reading Domino” or the “Fact Posters” focus on reading skills. Speaking skills can be trained using the “Conversation Cards”, the “Conversation Board Game” or the “Who am I? – Guessing Game”. With the help of the profiles about the royals, the students can train their writing skills. The “Picture + Word Cards” and the “Family Tree” enable the students to learn about the individual members of the Royal Family.
The material can be used collectively as part of open learning (Project Work) or individually in English lessons. Certain components, such as the “Picture + Word Cards” or the “Family Tree”, can also be used for lower levels.
Note: Archie and Lilibet are still listed in the material without the title "Prince" and "Princess". At the time of creating the material, it was still unclear whether the titles would actually be given. As soon as something changes, I will adjust the material if necessary.

Curso: 1.-2. ESO
The Royal Family - Fact Cards (Reading Cards) + Answer BookletThe material "The Royal Family" consists of 11 fact cards (cards with information texts about the royals) and a master copy for an "Answer Booklet". The material also includes a vocabulary sheet on which the students can fill in or translate unfamiliar words from the information texts. The material is designed for intermediate learners onwards.Preparation:The fact cards are to be simply printed out, laminated and cut out, if necessary. The Answer Booklet should be printed as a "booklet". Each student receives only 2 sheets in total. If desired, the booklet can also be stapled in the middle. Recommendation for larger groups: the fact cards should be produced twice.Possible Method: The fact cards are placed on a table in the classroom, for example. Each student receives their own answer booklet. Now, the students move to the fact cards, read the information and answer the questions in their answer booklets. So that unfamiliar words can be translated, I recommend letting the students work with a dictionary.
