Print 4 cards on one page and laminate the cards. Give students all the cards and tell them to make 10 grups of 5 cards each. Give them the verb for each collocation and let them some time to think which cards goes with each verb. After they have tried, give them the correct answer (answer key at the end of presentation) and tell them to take notes. After having worked this, divide the class into two teams.

GAME Each team has to write with a whiteboard marker the correct verb in the box provided. If it is correct they keep the card or get a point. You can also make the competition as a power point presentation and have them shout out the answer instead of writing it.
