The MaiMai card game is very similar to the classic version of UNO. But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating the letters of the alphabet or their sounds in a fun and engaging way. It develops visual perception, attentiveness and reaction. It's also a great entertainment for summer camps, speaking clubs and a cool time-filler or encouragement for good work in the lessons. Children love this game after they learn how to play.

   This card game is played with 4 different colours representing 4 alphabets. 

   The objective of playing this game is to attain greater automaticity when reading the letters of the alphabet. The game will help young learners memorize capital and lowercase letters, learn the sounds, recognize and read them easily in the words and texts.

They will also remember 4 colours and some necessary phrases for the game such as (e.g. Whose turn is it? It’s my turn. What colour do you need? etc.). 

It’s important to pronounce a letter/a sound aloud before putting the card.
