Giving Directions game
Children are divided into pairs. One of them is a "driver”, the second is a "navigator". Each team is given a board (a track). The ”drivers" are blindfolded and need markers - their task is to get to the finish line (draw a track) according to their navigators' prompts: turn left, turn right, go straight on / go along, go back, go up / down, etc. They can move both directions: clockwise and counterclockwise. The first team to reach the finish line wins.
The set includes 5 tracks of different levels of difficulty, they are located in different countries. This task can be used as a part of a quest, or you may also arrange pair competitions when teaching "Giving Directions", choosing one track of the appropriate level or driving through all of them, starting with the simplest and ending with the most difficult.
Wish you a good race!
