DESCRIBING PEOPLE (Physical Appearance) - ENGLISH BUNDLE
The "Describing People - English Bundle is a collection of materials on the subject of describing people in English.
The material is for beginners and consists of:
Some of the materials (e.g. writings) are also differentiated, meaning that the material can be used in groups with different levels of ability.
The materials can be used individually or as a complete set for open learning (e.g. learning stations, work plans, etc.) or in regular lessons.
With the speaking activity "Who am I?", students can learn how to describe people in combination with questions and short answers in English.APPLICATION:Students are divided into pairs or small groups. Each group gets a help card and about 10-15 person cards.There are two different games to choose from:Game 1: A student chooses any person and describes the appearance of the chosen person. The name must not be mentioned. The other student(s) must listen carefully and guess who it is. Game 2: A student chooses any person. The name must not be mentioned. The other students have to find out which person it is by asking specific questions. A suitable help card is included with the material for both game options. Furthermore, the person cards can also be used for writing tasks or other speaking activities.

With the clip cards, students can train their reading comprehension in a creative way. First the text on the card is read and then the correct person is selected by fixing a paper clip to the correct answer. Then the card is turned over and the answers can be checked.
