These rolecards can be used to simulate everyday communication in order to repeat and foster communication routines in German as a foreign language.

To help with a change of perspective, pupils will slip into different roles. In those roles, the pupils will not have to talk about their personal information but use the details they find in their rolecards (family, background). This way they might communicate more freely and in a more playful and relaxed manner.

The rolecards are created in a way that invites internal differenciation and multiple opporunities of application. In the beginning of class and at a more basic level, the cards might be used to ask about somebody's name, age or place of residence. At a later stage, pupils might ask about more complex and more detailed pieces of information , e.g. hobbies, date of birth, place of birth, pets, hobbies or look.

With the help of the docket you can specifically ask for given pieces of information. The docket can be freely edited to adapt it to you target group's specific needs.
