This material provides enough content to fill an entire lesson. It deals with Bonfire Night in Britain, the Reformation and the division between Catholics and Protestants. The material is written in simple language, so depending on the level of fluency, it is also suitable for younger pupils! It is also structured in such a way that a worksheet or a task can simply be left out if needed. The tandem exercise serves to explain to pupils the story behind Guy Fawkes Night and at the same time to practise some grammar (Present and Past Simple).
