This package contains all you need to teach "Shakespeare".
The materials are especially suitable for starting a new teaching series. They prepare your students to work with Early Modern English and help to take their fear of working with Shakespearean plays.

This material are picture cards for the teaching project "Teaching Shakespeare". It is used to visualize / accompany the individual lessons and can also be used in a variety of ways in other lessons.It also provides an overview or can be used for small mini-presentations.

Over the years I have heard the same worries and stereotypes over and over again. This year I started the unit by pinning typical statements on the board. Of course, this is only a starting point. But at least the student become aware of the "problem". In the course of the lesson we will try to refute all of these statements and prove the opposite!The material contains different stereotypes, blackboard material and a rough lesson plan / teacher's guide.

These are 24 speaking prompts to talk about Shakespeare! I use them as a warm up in the beginning of the lesson. The small circles on the cards show the level of difficulty.O-cards are ideal for the beginning of the teaching unit. OO-cards are ideal for revising information that was previously learnt. OOO-cards can be used at the end of the teaching unit. They focus on thinking and reflecting about Shakespeare.
