The Back to School Bingo is a fun warm-up activity about going back to school. How to play: There are 4 identical bingo cards on one page, so you need a pair of scissors to cut it up. Students mark every statement that is true about themselves. If someone has four in a line (horizontally, vertically, or maybe even diagonally), they shout bingo. Wait until most of the students have a bingo. Then ask a couple of them to read which statements got them a bingo and encourage them to discuss them. Who are your new classmates? Why are(n't) you happy to be back? It includes a one-page-version as well, if you want to project it or use it online.Of course, you can play the Back to School Bingo in many different ways. In another version, students have to transform the statements into questions, then they work in pairs and mark their partner's answers. Or the whole class can get up and walk around and find someone who agrees with the statement for each one of them.It is recommended for schoo-aged children and from A2 level.

Words Within is a fun, engaging vocabulary game designed to challenge students while helping them enhance their word-building skills. Each month features a new set of scrambled letters derived from the month’s name. The letters are presented in three pictures, with the second and third images revealing scrambled versions that encourage students to think creatively and form as many words as possible from the given letters. For example, in February, students can create words using the letters F, E, B, Rx2, U, A and Y. If students run out of ideas, teachers can provide helpful hints and definitions, offering a fun way to learn new vocabulary. At the end of each round, a score sheet shows the student’s level based on how many words they’ve discovered. The game varies in difficulty based on the name of the month. Some months feature more words, while others are trickier, offering a dynamic and adaptable activity that works well as a warm-up, a break, or to use up any remaining class time.Perfect for all levels, "Words Within" is a versatile resource that helps build vocabulary, spelling, and critical thinking while keeping students engaged in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
