Resource Description
This resource is designed for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners at CEFR levels A2 to B2. With this material, students will be able to:
Build fluency and confidence in spoken English.
Practice individual dialogues and monologues on personal topics.
Develop critical thinking and creativity through open-ended questions.
Improve pronunciation, coherence, and vocabulary in a flexible learning environment.
Prepare for oral exams, classroom presentations, and formal assessments.

How to Use the Material
These monologue cards are ideal for conversation lessons, exam practice, or warm-up activities. There are two types of cards included:
Guided cards with questions and prompts
Unguided cards for more independent learners
Here are some suggested ways to implement them:
Individual Practice
Hand out one card to each student.
Allow 2 to 3 minutes for preparation if needed.
Students speak for 2 to 3 minutes about the suggested topic.
Pair Work
Students present their monologues to a partner or small group.
Partners can give feedback or ask follow-up questions to encourage interaction.
Classroom Activities
Use as part of a rotation or speaking circuit.
Select a weekly topic and ask all students to present their views on it.
Assessment Tool
These cards are excellent for both formative and summative assessments. They can be used to evaluate fluency, vocabulary range, grammatical accuracy, and coherence.
Homework or Flipped Classroom Activity
Assign one card for students to prepare and present in the next lesson.
